Coronel did not maintain his new years "No Bus Eating" resolution
Hello, may I suggest something for the sketches?
in Paint.NET there's a filter in:
Effects, Artistic, Ink Sketch (Ink Outline 50+, Coloring 0)
With Paint.NET's Level adjust I did not get such great results (due to the brightness difference towards the edges, needs a radial selection and some tweeking).
In Gimp (or any other application, such as Paint Shop Pro) it works a bit better using Colors- Threshold.
If the lighting is more even, you can enhance even pencil drawn sketches to a nice, crisp contrast, which almost looks inked.
If it removes too much texture, you can still add a half-transparent layer over the enhanced version, where there's only a littel contrast enhancement.
This may indeed be helpful... At the moment however, I'm dealing with a computer that may not be able to properly run gimp (I've tried before and it crashed multiple times...). In a month or so, though, i hope to have a new one with which i could try such things.
Thanks for the tip
